When a streamer from the server goes live on Twitch, everyone in-game can see it. Staff link a player to their Twitch channel once, and the server checks Twitch every 30 seconds to see who's live.

What you'll see

• A [LIVE] tag floats above a streamer's head while they're live. It follows them around and disappears when their stream ends.
• /streamer list shows who's live right now, how many viewers they have, and a link to their channel.
• The Live Now sidebar. Type /streamer board to show a sidebar listing live streamers and their viewer counts, busiest first. Type it again to hide it. It turns itself off when you log out, so turn it back on next time.
• Wall boards. Staff can put Live Now boards on walls around the server. They show the same list and update on their own. If more streamers are live than fit, the board ends with "+3 more" or similar.

For streamers

Ask staff to link your Minecraft account to your Twitch channel. You don't need to log in to anything or give out any passwords. The server only asks Twitch whether your channel is live.

For staff

1. Put a Twitch application's client ID and secret in config.yml. Until you do, nobody will ever show as live, and the console will warn you on startup.
2. Link streamers with /streamer admin link <player> <twitchlogin>. Use their Twitch login name, the one in their channel URL.
3. To add a wall board, look straight at a wall within 8 blocks and run /streamer admin wallboard create <name>. Fine-tune it with nudge and rotate.

Other settings in config.yml: how often to check Twitch, the [LIVE] tag text, the sidebar and wall board titles, the "nobody's live" line, how many streamers each one lists, and wall board size.

The Live Now sidebar replaces whatever sidebar the player had before. When they turn it off, they go back to the server's main scoreboard.

If an old or duplicate board is left floating somewhere, stand near it and run /streamer admin wallboard purge. If it can't find any board entities, it removes every text display within range instead, including unrelated holograms, so keep the radius small.
