SnuggleTwitchBridge

This is the older Twitch integration for streamers on the server. When a viewer redeems a channel point reward on your stream, the server plays a sound to you in Minecraft, so it comes through on your stream.

Linking your account

1. Get a link code from the Twitch integration website.
2. On the server, type /linkmc <code>. Capital letters don't matter.
3. You'll see "Your Minecraft account has been linked to Twitch!" If the code is wrong or expired, you'll get an error and can try again.

Linking needs the snuggletwitchbridge.link permission, which players don't have by default. If /linkmc says you don't have permission, ask staff to give it to you.

What happens on stream

After you're linked, a reward set up on the Twitch integration site can play a sound for you. Only you hear it, and only while you're online. If you're offline when a reward is redeemed, nothing happens in-game.

Right now the only sound set up is a creeper hiss.

For staff

• Give streamers who use this snuggletwitchbridge.link, for example with LuckPerms.
• The Twitch integration backend sends sound requests to a small web listener the plugin runs on the Minecraft server. The listener's port, its access token, the backend address and the linking secret are in config.yml. Keep the token and secret private and matching the backend.
• server_id has to match this server's entry in the backend database.
• Sounds are named presets under sounds:. Each one has a Minecraft sound id, volume and pitch. The backend picks a preset by name, so add new presets here and use the same name on the backend.
